Powder Storage ©Copyright 2007 Gary A. Morris, All Rights Reserved. This building used to be the storage room for gunpowder. The small casks do not contain powder now. There is no iron in the building to reduce the chance of sparks and explosions, so the floor has no nails only wooden pegs. Oil lamps were kept outside and lit the building through the windows.
